Jo Ann Brassfield

Springtown~ Jo Ann Brassfield, 83, went to be with our Lord Sunday, August 2, 2020 in Decatur.

No Service will be held at this time.

Jo Ann was born May 11, 1937 to William and Bessie (Whetsell) O’dell in Bridgeport. She was a homemaker and cherished raising and spending time with her family. Jo Ann was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend who will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband and father of her children, Charles Brassfield; her 2nd husband, Emory Goodreau; and her daughter, Vanessa Ashcraft.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Charles D. Brassfield and wife Beverly of Aledo, and Bruce Brassfield and wife Deena of Springfield, Missouri; numerous grand-children and great-grandchildren; her sisters, Emmie Gaskill of Ft. Worth, and Rozell Loper of Bridgeport; her brother, Leon O’dell of Bridgeport; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
