Jodi Sue Buckingham

CHICO -- Jodi Sue Buckingham, 42, went to be with our Lord on Thursday, November 20, 2008 in Fort Worth. Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday at Morris Memorial United Methodist Church in Chico. Burial: Chico Cemetery. Family to receive friends: 4-6 p.m. Sunday. Rev. Elaine Bussey will officiate. Pallbearers: Charles Duke, Jared Hilgendorf, Marty Hilgendorf, Eddie Roberts, Ryan Roberts, Chris Barnes, and Bob Gnagy.

Jodi Sue was born on April 2, 1966, the daughter of Jerry and Elizabeth (Meek) Buckingham in Decatur. She was employed in custom care and was also an administrative assistant at Hines Nut Company. Jodi Sue was a 1984 graduate of Chico High School. She was a member of the Morris Memorial United Methodist Church.

Jodi Sue was preceded in death by her mother, Beth Buckingham on July 29th, 2005.

Left behind to cherish her memory is: father, Jerry Buckingham of Chico; sisters, Jana Duke and husband Charles of Fort Worth, Jeri Ann Roberts and husband Eddie of Keller; nephews, Ryan Roberts, Jared Hilgendorf; nieces, Jamie Roberts, Jessica Roberts, Jacyln Hilgendorf; numerous cousins and a host of friends.
