Newark: Joe Ferree, 90, went to be with our Lord, Tuesday, November 30, 2010 in Decatur.
Funeral service is 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 3rd at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Kevin Moore officiating. Interment is 2:00 p.m. Friday in Little Elm Cemetery, Little Elm, Texas.
Joe was born March 1, 1920 in Mishawaka, Indiana to Joseph Marion and Mae Woolet Ferree, Sr. He married Vivian Vernon in Dallas County, Texas. Joe served in the United States Army Air Force and was a 32nd Degree Mason, Dallas Lodge. He retired from Bell Helicopter Textron in 1975 as an aircraft foreman.
Left behind to cherish his memory are wife of over 60 years, Vivian Ferree of Newark; five daughters, Patricia Pinner and husband, Carey of Indiana, Mary Buie and husband, Kenneth of Baytown, Jean Anthony and husband, James of Wylie, Kathy Stone and husband, Chuck of Newark and Marsha Gaulke and husband, Harry of Frisco; numerous grand, great and great-great grandchildren.
