BRIDGEPORT -- Joe Sidney Jackson, 73, a retired City Director for the City of Bridgeport, died Monday, June 19, 2006 in Decatur. Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hawkins Funeral Chapel. Graveside service following at Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington. Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by his son, Jim Jackson. Survivors: Wife of 50 years, Betty Jackson; granddaughter, Sidney Marie Jackson of Ft. Worth; daughter-in-law, Becky Jackson of Ft. Worth; and brother, Ben Jackson of Connecticut.
