Paradise ~ Joe Paul, 75, a retired technician for LTV, went to be with our Lord Sunday, December 30, 2012 in Decatur.
Funeral is 1 p.m. Saturday, January 5th at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with private burial at Oak Grove Memorial Park in Irving. Rev. Andy Gentry will officiate. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Joe was born on May 14, 1937 to Joseph and Josephine (Whitmarsh) Paul in Mathis, Texas. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Betty; and his son, David Gray.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughters, Pamela Crist and husband Daniel of Saginaw, Barbara Jo Hughes and husband Alan of Kenly, North Carolina, Debra Cunningham and husband Gene of Wortham, Texas, and Anissa Satterfield of Springtown; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; his sister, Dorothy Cooper of Florida; other relatives and a host of friends.
