Graveside services are 11 a.m. Friday at Oaklawn Cemetery with Rev. Don Spain officiating. Family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
John was born March 13, 1929, in El Paso, Texas, to George William and Mattie Chambers. He married JoAnne Louise Crumm on May 31, 1989, in Eureka Arkansas.
He was an active and long time member of the Wise County Antique Auto Club. The pallbearers, Gene King, Dan Rhine, Wayne East, Danny Craven, Ricky Gomez and Jimmy Ford are also members of the Wise County Antique Auto Club that was an important part of John
