Decatur ~ John Edward White, 75, a retired plumber from Decatur went to be with our Lord Wednesday, January 3, 2018 in Decatur, Texas.
Graveside service is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Pleasant Grove Cemetery #1 in Decatur. Family will receive friends 6 - 7:30 p.m. Friday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.
Tyler White will be officiating. Pallbearers include Michael White, Jimmy White, Scott White, Tony White, Cody White, Colton White, Tyler White, Jeremy White, Dusty Sides, and Austin Huggins.
John was born September 2, 1942 to B.O. and Susie (North) White in Decatur, Texas. He married Carol Joan Allred on May 9, 1959 in Waurika, Oklahoma. They were married 48 years till her passing in 2008.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and daughter, Diannia Gale White.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his sons, Michael White and wife Debbie of Decatur, Jimmy White and wife Marie of Decatur, Scott White and wife Amy of Decatur, and Tony White and wife Candace of Decatur; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; a sister, Ina Askey of Decatur; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
