Jack Urbec, 69, a retired builder, went to be with our Lord, Sunday, May 25, 2008 in Springfield, Missouri, after a courageous fight with cancer.
Graveside service is Saturday, May 31st at Oaklawn Cemetery in Decatur. Brother Bill Hughes is to officiate.
Jack was born in Wocester, Massachusetts, on October 6, 1938, to John G. and Sophie Mierzejewski Urbec. Jack married Jan Pinkerton, of Decatur and they made their home in Branson, Missouri since 1991. He retired from commercial building in 2006, and spent the last 9 years of his career building 11 Bass Pro Shops retail stores across the United States and Canada.
Jack was a member of Branson Hills Assembly and also served as president of the Branson area Christian Businessmen
