John Dave Zumar

Decatur ~ John Dave Zumar, 79, went to be with the Lord Friday, November 26, 2021 in Decatur, Texas.

Memorial will be held at a later date.

Dave was born on December 23, 1941 to John Michael and Eileen Virginia (Meyers) Zumar in Moundsville, West Virginia. He was united in marriage to Barbara Lee Thomson on April 2, 1961 in Ft. Hood, Texas. Dave was a self-employed insurance adjuster and he was a member at the Catholic church.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughters, Kim Zumar of Decatur and Kelli Rottner and husband Andrew of Decatur; his sons, Mike Zumar and wife Robyn of Weatherford and David Zumar and wife Ellen of Crowley; his grandchildren, Andrea Ramsey, Austin Zumar, Mallory Hollifield, Sydney Pyland, and Tyler Pyland; great-grandchildren, Jessi Mac Ramsey, and Eleanor Zumar; and his brother, Tony Zumar of Colorado; extended family and a host of friends.

Family has requested memorials be made to Shiloh's Road to Hope to 6525 Crockett Court or Heritage Veterinary Clinic to 4392 FM-51 subjected with Wise County Dogs.
