Chico ~ John Henry Foster IV, 55, a demolition expert, went to be with our Lord Monday, July 13, 2015, in Decatur.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 16, 2015, at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport with burial at Chico Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pastors Fred Villa and Fredie Villa will officiate.
John was born on August 2, 1959, to John Henry III and Louise (Britton) Foster in Fort Worth, Texas. He was united in marriage to Katherine Coon on August 8, 1998, in Bridgeport. For 28 years John worked as a demolition expert for Austin Powder. He was an active member of the Harvest Time Church in Bridgeport and loved nothing more than serving the Lord.
John was preceded in death by his mother, Louise Foster.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 17 years, Katherine Foster of Chico; his father, John H. Foster III and stepmother, Mary of Runaway Bay; his daughter, Angela Gentry and husband, Kenneth of Lincoln, Arkansas; his sons, Terry Hare and wife, Teresa of Dequeen, Arkansas, Bryan Coon and wife, Kendra of Chico; his grandchildren, Michael Hare and wife, Lindsay of Bridgeport, Amber Romirez and husband, Armondo of Dequeen, Arkansas, Shane Gentry and wife, Kellie of Las Cruses, New Mexico, Amanda Gentry of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, Nicole, Jonathon, and Mykel Smith of Chico; 8 great grandchildren; and other family members; and a host of friends.
