John "Randy" Winters, 52, a mechanic at Quicksilver, went to be with our lord Thursday, June 21, 2007, in Granbury.
Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Springtown Church of Christ. Burial: Cottondale Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.
Bro. Bill Paxton will officiate. Pallbearers will be Jason Ward, David Evans, Robert Goforth, Chip Foster, and Ray Showers.
Randy was born on November 2, 1954 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to John Franklin Jr. and Mary I. (Davis) Winters. He proudly served in the U.S. Army then continued his mechanical career. He married Bety Alcansia on December 7, 2004. Randy was a member of the Springtown Church of Christ, a beloved father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend to many.
Preceeded in death by his sisters, Diane and Renee Winters.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Bety Winters of Paradise; daughter, Audrey Reyna of Lufkin; grandchildren, Kevin and Cecilia Servin; mother, Mary Winters of Paradise; father, John Winters Jr. and wife, Pat of Mingus; sister, Marsha Ward of Paradise; nephews, Jason and James Ward.
