Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 21st at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church with Father Sojan George officiating. Family will receive friends 6-7 p.m. Wednesday with Rosary following at 7 p.m. at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Pallbearers include Romeo Barboza, Raul Barboz, Sergio Barboza, Reginaldo Barboza, Jaime Varela and Jose L. Barboza, Jr.
Jose was born September 15, 1960 in Zaragoza Coahuila, Mexico to Leopoldo Barboza Valdes and Barbarita Rivera. He married Argelia Alcaraz on October 17, 1978 in Zaragoza Coahuila, Mexico.
Jose was employed by Hudd Welding & Construction in Mineral Wells. He was a member of the catholic church.
Left behind to cherish his memory are wife, Argelia Barboza; three daughters, Norma Leon, Barbara and Abigail Barboza; all of Fort Worth; brothers, Jose, Raul, Reginaldo, Sergio, Leopoldo, and Romeo Barboza; sister, Elva Varela; and mother, Barbarita Rivera of Mexico.
