Joyce (Reynolds) Wetsel

Decatur ~ Joyce Wetsel, 82, a retired clerk, went to be with our Lord Saturday, April 7, 2018 in Decatur.

Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

David Lowrie will officiate.

Joyce was born on December 20, 1935 to Arthur and Esther (Eldridge) Reynolds in Milford, Massachusetts. She was united in marriage to Albert Wetsel on December 26, 1954 in Milford, Massachusetts. Joyce retired from Wise County Clerk office. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Decatur. Joyce was a member of the Wise County Women’s Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers; 2 sisters.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 63 years, Albert Wetsel of Decatur; her daughter, Brenda Reber of Flower Mound; her son, Barry Wetsel of Fort Worth; her grandchildren, Michelle Barker and husband Timothy of Flower Mound, and Garrett Reber of Florida; her great grandchildren, Lilah, and Eli; her sister Eunice Goyette of Massachusetts; her brother, Everett Reynolds of Massachusetts; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
