Bridgeport~ Joyce Wood, 72, went to be with our Lord on her birthday, Tuesday, March 15, 2022 in Decatur.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at a Visitation to honor Joyce, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport.

Joyce was born on March 15, 1950 to James "Jim" and Jean (Kitchener) Wood in Manchester, England. She was a retired restaurant owner. Joyce loved spending time with her family and friends and they cherished her. She was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, great aunt, and a good friend who will be missed by all those that knew and loved her.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Mark Senn; her sister, Jeanette Moore; her brothers, Paul Wood and Pete Wood; her nieces, Donna and Dee Wood, Lindsay Jackson; her nephews, Peyton Wood and Lance and Logan Wood; her nieces, Rachel Wood and Tiffany Wood; and her great nieces, Kaylee, Naomi, and Noah; numerous extended family and friends.
