BRIDGEPORT -- J.T. Nichols, 75, a machinist, went to be with our Lord Friday, Feb. 22, 2008, in Bridgeport.
Funeral: 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24, 2008 at Cundiff Baptist Church. Officiating: Rev. Brent Tucker Burial: Cundiff Cemetery. Pallbearers: Johnny Burris, Joe Paul Nichols, Jr., Jay Caraway, Rick Williams, Michael Williams, Will Roberts.
J.T. was born Aug. 28, 1932 in Hillsboro, TX to Otis and Murtle Riggs Nichols. He married Gerl Dean Stewart Dec. 1, 1972 in Durant, OK. J.T. was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of Runaway Baptist Church.
Left behind to cherish his memory is his wife, Gerl Dean Nichols of Bridgeport; stepchildren, Shirley Burris and husband John of Alto, Pam Conroy and husband Bob of Red Oak, Mike Williams and wife Marilyn of Azle, Kim Williams and wife Pam of Flower Mound; 9 step-grandchildren, 15 step-great-grandchildren and 2 step-great-great-grandchildren; brother, Joe Paul Nichols, Sr. and wife Carolyn of Cundiff; sister, Jo Ann Hull and husband Don of Frisco; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
