BRIDGEPORT -- Juan "El Cubano" Albarez, 90, a retired rancher went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 in Bridgeport.
Graveside Service: 4 p.m. Friday at Cemetario De Mexicano in Bridgeport. Visitation: no set time. Rev. Juan Rodas and Rev. Manuel Salinas, Jr. will officiate.
Juan was born on January 27, 1919, the son of Lucio and Maria (Gill) Albarez, in Mantanza, Cuba. He came to America in 1981. Juan was a member of the Primera Iglesia Baptista Church in Decatur.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are: his son, Juan Albarez, Jr.; his sisters, Carmen and Maria; and a host of friends.
