Juan Pedro Mendez

Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 31st at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church with Father Sojan George officiating. Interment: Oaklawn Cemetery. Rosary is 6 p.m. followed by family visitation at 7-8 p.m. Monday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.

Pallbearers include Juan Flores, Pablo Mendez, Carlos Mendez, Cesar Mendez, Jesus Lira and Victor Ortiz.

Juan was born on March 30, 1968 in Zaragoza,Coahuila, Mexico to Pedro Mendez Sandate and Maria Dominguez. He married Manuela Flores on August 20, 1995 in Decatur. Juan was a member of the Catholic Church.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Manuela Mendez of Decatur; two daughters, Gaby and Lupe Mendez both of Decatur; three brothers, Pablo Mendez of Fort Worth, Carlos and Cesar Mendez both of Decatur; two sisters, Maggie Lira and Elba Mendez both of Decatur.
