Juan Olivas

Newark ~ Juan Olivas, 73, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, December 28, 2022 in Decatur, Texas.

Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Friday, December 30, 2022 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Juan was born February 5, 1949 to Casimiro and Eulalia (Sital) Olivas in Durango, Mexico. He was united in marriage to Guadalupe Medrano in Durango, Mexico. Juan was a retired truck driver after many years in the transportation industry. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Casimiro and Eulalia Olivas.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Guadalupe Olivas of Newark; his daughter, Areli Olivas and husband Saul Rojas of Newark; his son, Miguel Olivas of Newark; his grandchildren, Emanuel, Ariana, Jesus, Ailen, and Damian; his brothers and sister; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
