Juanita Pruitt

Bedford ~ Juanita Pruitt, 79, formerly of Alvord, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Friday, April 15, 2016 in Bedford.
Family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Sunday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.
Juanita was born on July 31, 1936 to Counts Curtis and Lillian Julian (Evans) Taylor in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was united in marriage to Jimmy Pruitt on February 22, 1954 in Haltom City. Juanita was a member of the Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Jimmy Pruitt; and her granddaughter, Jennifer Pruitt Toles.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Jimmie D. Pruitt and wife Shelly of Bedford and Danny Pruitt and wife Cindy of Alvord; her daughter, Linda Bryan and husband Jeff of Alvord; her grandchildren, Danielle, Jennifer, Blake, Joey, Rachel, and Sarah; her great-grandchildren, Slade, Ava, and Bain; and her brothers, Curtis Taylor of Euless, and Teddy Taylor of New Orleans, Louisiana; other family members and a host of friends.
