Juanita Jo Crawford (Dickerson) Thomas

Juanita Jo Crawford Thomas, 86 years old, went to be with her Lord on Monday, July 20, 2015 at 6:17 pm.

A graveside memorial service was held Saturday, August 1, 2015 at Arledge Ridge Cemetery in Bonham, Texas.

Jo lived in Denton but was a longtime resident of Boyd, and was installed as their postmaster in 1983. Jo, Mimi to her family, was a former member of Trinity Baptist Church and later Briar Baptist Church. Mimi had since retired and had recently been in an Alzheimer's memory care unit and on hospice care.

Mimi was the loving mother of Bunny Kay Ober of Fort Worth, and Paula Joe Yoder and husband Phillip of Denton, Tx. She was the grandmother of Brandi Michelle Kim and husband Dohe and Sean Michael Ober. She was the great grandmother of Lucas and Logan Kim.

Mimi was preceded in death by her loving husband Claude Preston Thomas in 2010 and William D. Aaron Crawford in 1967, her brothers Donald and John Dickerson and her sister, Mary Dickerson.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in her memory to either an Alzheimer's research organization or to Franklin Graham's Samaritan Purse ministry. There will be a small graveside service in Bonham, Texas for immediate family and friends announced at a future date.
