Judy (Spencer) Sampler

Decatur~ Judy Sampler, 71, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, September 30, 2020.

Graveside service is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Oaklawn Cemetery in Decatur.

Judy was born October 11, 1948 to Earl and Florene (Hartsell) Spencer in Decatur, Texas. She was united in marriage July 27, 1968 to Eddie Sampler in Decatur, Texas. Judy owned and operated Comet Cleaners in Decatur for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Florene Spencer; and her sister, Adenia Spencer.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 52 years, Eddie Sampler of Decatur; her 2 sons, Cameron Sampler of Ft.Worth and Craig Sampler and wife Stephanie of Granbury; her 2 grandsons, Nicholas and Spencer; her sister, Becky Black and husband Buddy of Weatherford; her brother-in-law, Dickey Sampler and wife Donna; her 2 nieces, Susan Davis and Jennifer Rud; and her nephew, Billy Sampler; numerous relatives and a host of friends.
