Judy Jean (Cox) Teal

Rhome ~ Judy Jean Teal, 73, went to be with our Lord Friday, May 12, 2017 in Decatur.

Memorial Service is 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 19, 2017 at Aurora Baptist. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior.

Rev. Jimmy Withers will officiate.

Judy was born on November 27, 1943 to Fred and Robbie (Bell) Cox in Savannah, Oklahoma. She was united in marriage to Charles Marvin Teal on March 18, 1987 in Las Vegas Nevada. Judy retired from teaching. Judy was a dedicated teacher having received a Masters Degree in Education. She was a member of Aurora Baptist Church. Judy loved to travel and had a passion for people.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Marvin Teal; her son, Scotty Mac Nix; her brothers, Rauel Cox and Lavon Cox.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are, her son, WC Nix III and wife Jennifer of Mckinney; her daughter, Tammy Jean Adcock and husband Brad of Newark; her son,  Preston Loyd Nix and wife Mary Elizabeth of Heath, Texas; her step daughter; Sandra Pulliam of Georgia; her grandchildren, Hunter, and Jade Nix, Hannah and Halyn Adcock, Preston, Payton, Palmer, Presley, Porter, Paxton Nix, and Kameron Nix, Kalison Nix; her daughter-in-law, Kelly Nix; her brothers, Loy Cox and wife Charlene, Scott Cox; her sisters, Nancy Reese, Sarah Garrison; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Senior Care Center in Decatur, Texas or the Aurora Baptist Church.
