Mass of Christian burial is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 24, at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Decatur with burial in Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur with at Rosary to be held at 7:00 p.m.

Julie was born on April 1, 1992 to Jose and Maria Carmen (Perez) Trejo in Decatur, Texas. She married Nick Perez on January 6, 2011 in Decatur, Texas. Julie graduated from Decatur High School and worked as a receptionist at Rebeiro Orthopedics in Decatur.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Nick Perez of Decatur; son, Isaiah Julian Perez of Decatur; parents, Jose and Carmen Trejo of Decatur; 3 sisters, Carmen Mares and husband Elijio of Decatur, Lupe Vasquez and husband Andy of Decatur, and Ariela Trejo of Decatur; her brother, Tony Trejo of Decatur; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and a host of friends.
