Plano: Karen Ona Griffith, 69, went to be with our Lord, Saturday, March 2, 2013 in McKinney, Texas.
Funeral is 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 5th at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gerre Joiner officiating. Interment: Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 12:30 -1:30 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service.
Pallbearers include Lynda Godowic, Mark Jordan, Peter Pranco, Brian Knox, Andrew May and Pierre Moua.
Karen was born February 6, 1944 in Detroit, Michigan to Clary and Donna Vivian (Rush) Shelton. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, Sydney and Joseph Shelton.
Karen was a member of the Pitman Creek Church of Christ.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Tiffany Griffith of Plano; son, Todd Griffith and wife Kim of Decatur; and granddaughter, Megan Griffith of Decatur; other family members and a host of friends.
