Karen Marie (Kidwell) Woodruff

Bowie ~ Karen Marie Woodruff, 70, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, May 18, 2021 in Dallas, Texas.

Memorial Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Karen was born September 29, 1950 to Willie and Mary Alice (Hair) Kidwell Jr. in San Antonio, Texas. She was united in marriage June 15, 1984 to Roy Woodruff in Lorena, Texas. Karen was a retired aircraft bonder for Bell Helicopter. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many who will miss her greatly.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Roy Woodruff of Bowie; her children, Clayton Woodruff and wife Hillary, Cliffton Woodruff and wife Kat, Liza Geary and husband Danny, Dannica Owens and husband Randy, Marilynn Porterfield and husband Steven, Joanne Downes and husband Heinrich, and Robert Field Jr. and wife Gloria; her grandchildren, Madison Owens, Katie Jacobson, Nathan Porterfield, Dylan Woodruff, Hannah Downes, Landon Downes, Destini Hutcheson, Patrick Baker, Austin Geary, and Raini Field; 2 sisters, Kathy Jones and Julia Jones; extended family members and a host of friends.
