Bridgeport ~ Kathy Howard Boswell, 66, a small business owner, went to be with our Lord Sunday, June 19, 2016 in Bridgeport.
Funeral is 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Pleasant View Baptist Church with burial in East Bridgeport Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hawkins Funeral Home.
Rev. Gary Demmitt will officiate. Pallbearers include Jonathan Holder, Todd Mara, Jeff Howard, Jake Moody, Jasper Winn, Jarrod Cross, Jason Nelson, and Ryan Meals.
Kathy was born on April 18, 1950 to Joe and Katherine (Holder) Howard in Denton. She was united in marriage to Jim Boswell on March 20, 1973 in Sanger. Kathy owned and operated Cleaning by Kathy. She was a lifetime member of the Bridgeport Riding Club and a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Jim Boswell; her siblings, Edith Smith, Jimmy Joe Howard, Kenneth Howard, W.C. Howard, Carroll Howard, Larry Howard, and Don Howard.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Heath Boswell and wife Lisa of Bridgeport, Kelly Boswell and wife Frances of Bridgeport; her daughter, Amy Conditt and husband Ben of Linden; her grandchildren, Little Kelly, Shaye, Kaden, Cooper, J.W., Kenya, Kazin, Kimora, Karli, Cody, Delanie, and Haylie; her great granddaughter, Lynzee; her brother, Buck Howard and wife Jean of Sanger; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and a host of friends.
