Kathy was born on July 21, 1951 to Kenneth and Shirley (Peterson) Moupin in Reno, Nevada. She was united in marriage to Ronald Smout on March 26, 1960 in Vernon, Texas. Kathy was a retired retail manger.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Tricia Coomer of Sunset; her son, Scott Smout and Delisha of Sunset; her brothers, Beroan Moupin and wife Donna of Idaho, Kenny Moupin Jr. and wife Sheila of Texas; her sisters, Arbaine Gonzales and husband Marc of Colorado, Julie Carenas and husband Vic of Colorado; her grandchildren, Jeremy, Brittany, Amy, Ruth, John, Deliah, Ronald, and Scott Jr.; her great grandchildren, Jennavecia, Bentley, Aliyah, Timothy, Remington, Hazel, Jacob, and Candice; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
