POOLVILLE -- Katie Lou Lawrence Cox, 86, a retired teacher in the Perrin-Whitt ISD, died Sunday, July 10, 2005, in Bridgeport. Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Hawkins Chapel. Burial: Oakwood Cemetery in Jacksboro. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Compass Hospice in Decatur. Mrs. Cox was preceded in death by her husband Richard in 1974, her parents, Bill and Dollie Stewart Lawrence and 3 brothers, W.B., Clyde and Spurgin Lawrence. Survivors: Daughter, Sheila Mauney and husband, Frankey; grandchildren, Eddie Rogers and wife Traci and Bill Mauney and wife Jenny; great-grandchildren, Chelsie Rogers, Tyler Rogers, Josiah Cansler, Jetton Cansler, Jasper Cansler, Ana and Lauren Mauney; special nieces and nephews, Fred Lawrence, Kristi, Renee and Casey.
