Alan Keith Lane passed away June 21, 2018 at Methodist Hospital in Dallas.
Memorial service is 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Decatur. Larry Sims will officiate.
Keith was born on July 31, 1965 in Sherman, Texas to Alan and Kay Lane. He went to school in Keller, Texas and graduated from Tarleton State University. Keith’s early years were spent raising Polled Hereford cattle winning many awards as a FFA member at Keller High School. Upon graduation from Tarleton State University he joined Abbott Laboratories as a Pharmaceutical Representative and in later years was a Registered Professional Landman working as an Independent Petroleum Landman for several oil companies. Keith took tremendous pride in his family loving each and every one. He was an avid traveler, fisherman and bird hunter loving each day spent on extended family vacations to the Rocky Mountains and Alaska. Keith was an experienced cook who enjoyed cooking for family gatherings.
N o husband father or son could have been more devoted to his wife, Leslie Misenhimer Lane; his daughter, Hannah Lane of Conway, Arkansas; his sons, Landry Adams of Mckinney and fiancé Brittany Cooper, Hayden Adams and wife Theresa of Spring, Texas his grandson, Parker Adams his granddaughter, Brooke Adams of Spring, Texas.
Keith leaves his parents Alan and Kay Lane of Decatur, Texas; his sister, Dainya Gaye Park and husband Randal Park of Decatur; his brother Bryan Kent Lane of Keller, Texas. Keith was a devoted uncle to nine nieces and nephews and eight great nieces and nephews.
