Newark ~ Kelly Michelle Jackson, 36, a certified nursing assistant, went to be with our Lord Thursday, September 26, 2019, in Fort Worth.
Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 6, 2019 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Boyd with burial in Keeter Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Rev. Mark Autry will officiate. Pallbearers include Ryan Harrellson, Jerry Hall, Tim Waldrip, Jeff Bryant, Ty Scrugs, Richard Savage, Jason Terry, and Daniel Hall. Honorary Pallbearers are Brian Gann, Buddy Gann and Alvie Phillips.
Kelly was born on September 3, 1983 to Alvie Dale and Velma Rose (Gann) Phillips in Fort Worth. She was united in marriage to John Jackson on September 25, 2004 in Keeter.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Dale Phillips; her grandmother, Florence Murphy; her grandfather, Buddy Gann; and her grandfather, Shorty Phillips.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 15 years, John Jackson of Newark; her daughter, Ashley Jackson of Newark; her son, Jeremy Jackson of Newark; her mother, Bonnie Bailey of Fort Worth; her father, Alvie Phillips; her mother-in-law, Karen Jackson of Bellevue; her grandmother, Ruby Bowen of Abilene; extended relatives and a host of friends.
