Kellye (Womack) Ross

Boonsville~ Kellye Womack Ross, 60, went to be with our Lord on Sunday July 17, 2022 in Decatur, Texas.

Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport with burial in Boonsville Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Gary Garrett and Paul Seagraves are officiating the service.

Pallbearers are to include, Ricky Garrett, Scott Cheves, Kelly Garrett, Sean Womack, Randy Coleman, and Willie Garrett. Honorary Pallbearers are Mike Cheves, Dwayne Garrett, Tim Garrett, and Sonny Coleman.

Kellye was born on October 20, 1961 to Gary Womack and Peggy Garrett in Bridgeport, Texas.  She was a licensed cosmetologist and homemaker who enjoyed taking care of her family, and especially cherished her time with her grandsons. Kellye was united in marriage to the love of her life, Terry Ross on April 21, 1978 at Balsora Baptist Church where Kellye was a lifetime member of the church and surrounding community. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, mother-in-law and “Granny” as her grandchildren affectionally called her, who will be missed dearly by those that knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Gary Wayne Womack.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 44 years, Terry Ross; her daughter, Amanda Ross Cox and husband Brian; her two grandsons, Hunter Ross and J.T. Cox; numerous extended family members, many, many cousins and a host of good friends.
