Chico ~ Kenneth Joe Barkley, 41, a mechanical start up specialist, went to be with our Lord Saturday, June 7, 2014 in Clear Creek, Colorado.
Funeral is 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 14, 2014 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Chico Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Pastor Ed Eddington will officiate. Pallbearers include Russ Knepper, Mike Mazock, Joseph Barkley, Joe Miller, Greg McKowen, Ryan Tenberg, Naamon Barkley, Donnie Austin, and Jim Newbrough.
Joe was born on December 22, 1972 to Frank and Barbara (Haskett) Barkley in Lawton, Oklahoma. He worked as a mechanical start up specialist for The Energy Corporation of Denver, Colorado.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his partner, Doris Wisniewski of Chico; his sons, Joseph Barkley and wife Anna of Kenedy,Texas, Ryan Tenberg and wife Bethany of Knippa, Texas; his daughters, Sarah Barkley of Kenedy, Madison Barkley of Uvalde; his grandchildren, Bella Donna Barkley and Kaylee Tenberg; his parents, Frank and Barbara Barkley of Chico; his sister, Monica Barkley of Mineral Wells; his grandmother, Mary Haskett of Chico; his aunts, Penny Grooms and husband Chiggar, Linda Felder and husband Jimmy, Teresa Newbrough, Mary Shurtz; numerous other family members and a host of friends.
