Kenneth Douglas Whitson

Chico~ Kenneth Douglas Whitson, 74, went to be with our Lord on Monday, June 15, 2020 in Bowie. Private service was held.

Kenneth was born on October 6, 1945 to Douglas and Lona Bee (Wainscott) Whitson in Bowie, Texas. He was a loader operator for Gifford Hill in Chico. Kenneth will be missed by all the knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Anita Whitson.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughter, Crissy South of Abilene; his son, J.D. Whitson of Abilene; his daughter, Jamie Whitson of Bowie; his son, Joey Whitson of Bowie; his numerous grandchildren; his sister, Ruth Whitaker and husband Bill of Bowie; his sister, Sandra Roberts of Pampa; his brother, Dee Whitson and wife Vicky of Whitney; his sister, Joyce Sanders of Bowie; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
