Kenneth Phil Isom

Chico~ Kenneth Phil Isom, 87, went to be with our Lord on Friday, August 21, 2020 in Bridgeport.

Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 23, 2020 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service.

Rev. Brad Gilbert will officiate.

Kenneth was born October 15, 1932 to Dewey and Mabel (Smith) Isom in Como, Texas. He was a veteran and proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1952-1956.  He was united in marriage to the love of his life Eleanor (Pat) McManus in August of 1956 in Providence, Rhode Island. Kenneth was retired from Cholla Petroleum.

In his later years he enjoyed watching westerns, working on projects and riding around the pasture in his golf cart.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Pat Isom; and his brother, John Isom.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughters, Mary DoByns and husband Troy of Cottondale, and Vonda Taggart and husband  Troy of Chico; 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; his sister, Dewena Crowell of Rockwall; and his brother, James Isom of Bridgeport.
