Kirk Steven Holland

Funeral service is 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 4th at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jerry Miller officiating. Interment: Sweetwater Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.

Pallbearers include Jason Jones, David Sims, Russell King, Tim McGar, Dale Romines, Frank Anderson, Chris Welch and Gary Handshumaker.

Kirk was born March 15, 1961 in San Diego, California to Steve Gordon and Bonnie Lou (Meador) Holland. He was a utility man with Wise Electric Coop for 30 years. Kirk was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his daughter, Crystal Rodriguez of Bridgeport; three grandchildren, Brittany, Isaiah and Jayden; father, Steve Holland; sister, Dawn Downe and husband, Mark; grandmother, Juanita Holland; two nieces, Staci and Alexis Downe all of Decatur; several aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.

Kirk was preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie Lou Holland on October 10, 2013; grandfather, Ivan Holland; grandparents, Floyd and Margaret Meador; and numerous aunts and uncles.
