Decatur ~ Kolleen Kay Milacek, 75, went to be with our Lord Friday, March 10, 2017 in Denton.
Funeral service is 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur with burial in Sycamore Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Service will be officiated by Sam Redfearn.
Pallbearers include Brendan Milacek, Tyler Milacek, Josh Roundy, Gregory Griffeth, Nolen Griffeth, and Eddie Ray Griffeth. Honorary Pallbearer is Grady Griffeth.
Kolleen was born on February 7, 1942 to Ivan and Mable (Roglin) Kelly in Omaha, Nebraska. She was united in marriage to Buck Milacek on January 7, 1963 in Saint Anthony, Idaho. Kolleen was a retired saleswoman.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 54 years, Buck Milacek of Decatur; her sons, Jeffrey Milacek of Bridgeport, James Milacek and wife Tina of Aubrey; her grandchildren, Jessica, Tyler, Brendan, and Ashlyn; 5 great grandchildren; her sister, Lana Mader of Iowa; her sister-in-law Sandra Blevins of Iowa; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
