Graveside service is 10 a.m. Friday, January 20th at Oaklawn Cemetery with Rev. Louis Horton officiating. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
L. B. was born November 13, 1923 in Graham, Oklahoma, to Bartlett and Dovie (Pool) Norton. He married Thelma Jones Hargrave in March 1995 in Nocona, Texas. L. B. served in the United States Army and was a member of the Thomas P. Hunter Masonic Lodge No. 1356 in Grand Prairie, Texas.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Thelma Norton of Decatur; son, Chuck Norton and wife Carol of Decatur; two grandsons, Clint Norton of Azle, Rusty Norton and wife Shelby of Alvord; granddaughter, Amber Norton Wood of Hutto, Texas; 9 great grandchildren, Justin, Joshua, Toni Jeaniece, Kevin Michael, Kyla, Madison, Abby, Kacie, Kameryn, one on the way; and a host of friends.
L. B. is preceded by first wife, S.E. Martin Norton; grandson, Kyle Norton; and brother, Johnny A. King.
