BRIDGEPORT -- Ladean Gober, 88, a retired waitress for Hoefle Corner Drug, died Monday, Nov. 20, 2006 in Decatur. Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Hawkins Funeral Chapel. Burial: West Bridgeport Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 9:30 until service time Friday at the funeral home. Ladean was born Jan. 31, 1918 in Chico to the late Aurther and Millie Karnes James. She was preceded in death by her parents: her husband, Elmer Gober on Oct. 8, 1964; daughter, Glenda Gober; grandson, Michael Gober; and brothers, Oscar, L.Z., Ray and Frank James. Survivors: Sons, Lary Gober and wife, Cynthia of Bridgeport and Gary Gober of Cleburne and Bob Gober of Keller; grandchildren, Gary Leo, Leeann, Karrie, Ryan and Michelle; and 5 great-grandchildren.
