Lahoma (Seabolt) Cartwright

Decatur ~ Lahoma Cartwright, 97, went to be with our Lord Monday, December 7, 2020.

Funeral Service is 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 11, 2020 at First United Methodist Church in Decatur with burial at Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Rev. Cassie Wade will officiate. Pallbearers will include Forest Cartwright, Trevor Gillespie, Tristan Gillespie, Russell Cartwright, Tami Cartwright, and Lara Klopp-Jones.

Lahoma was born November 1, 1923 to Ottoway and Sara Arizona (Andrews) Seabolt in Braden, Oklahoma. She was united in marriage September 15, 1940 to Robert L. Cartwright in Marietta, Oklahoma. Lahoma was an artist and member of First United Methodist Church in Decatur.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Cartwright; and her son, Robert Cartwright Jr.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her 3 daughters, Becky Wilson and husband Jesse of Arizona, Lisa Klopp and husband Frank of California, and Janell Cartwright of Bridgeport; her 13 grandchildren, Dawn Weir, Debra Deisher, Terri Wheeler, Russell Cartwright, Yuri Hohman, Zachary Cartwright, Crystal Carle, Lara Jones, Jason Murray, Forest Cartwright, Trevor Gillespie, Torri Gillespie, and Kristi Perez; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; and a host of friends.
