Laree (Driskell) Mooney

Grapevine ~ LaRee Mooney, 82, went to be with our Lord, Thursday, May 13, 2021 in Flower Mound, Texas.

Graveside is 11:30 a.m. Monday, May 24, 2021 at Bethel Cemetery in Decatur. Family will receive friends 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Monday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

LaRee was born on October 14, 1938 to Orville and Edna (Millsap) Driskell in Fort Worth. She was united in marriage to Orvil Ray Ermis in Oklahoma and later united in marriage to Sam Mooney in Fort Worth. LaRee was a hairdresser and was a member of a Baptist church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husbands, Orvil Ray Ermis, and Sam Mooney.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Carrie Ermis-Cook and husband Wayne of Grapevine, and Judy Green and husband David of Garland; 2 grandsons; 5 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; 2 brothers, Orville Lee Driskell and wife Cathy of Glenrose, and Forest Driskell and wife Dottie of Fort Worth; several nieces, nephews, and extended family and a host of friends.
