Laura L. (Hunn) Mcquinn

Decatur ~ Laura Lee Hunn McQuinn, 81, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, October 14, 2020.

Funeral is 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Decatur with burial at Wilson Prairie Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Todd Blair will officiate. Pallbearers include Nick Wolf, Adam Wolf, Tanner Marlett, Taylor Marlett, Jamie Marlett, and Justin Newsom. Honorary pallbearers include, Trace Marlett and Braytin Newsom.

Laura was born August 3, 1939 to William Harlow and Bessie Lee (Shawn) Hunn in Cottondale, Texas. She was united in marriage January 28, 1974 to Bobby Dee McQuinn in Bridgeport, Texas. Laura retired from Victor Equipment after more than 38 years, then went on to work at Brannon Cleaners for more than 14 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Bessie Hunn; her husband of 46 years, Bobby Dee McQuinn; partner, Gary Smith; 3 sisters, Joyce Stroud, Neil Snow, and Jewel Crum; and her son-in-law, Billy Grantham.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Brenda Grantham of Bridgeport, and Cindy Wolf and husband Phil of Era; 3 grandchildren, Shawna Newsom and husband Justin of Bridgeport, Nick Wolf of Ft.Worth, and Adam Wolf of Denton; 5 great- grandchildren, Tanner, Taylor, and Trey Marlett, Braytin Newsom and Hailee Hudson; her brother William Hunn and wife Isabell; 3 sisters, Alice Doss, Goldie Chilton and husband Jackie, and Ann Holt and husband Ronnie; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
