New Fairview: Laurie Helen Lutz, 55, went to be with our Lord, Saturday, February 16, 2013 in New Fairview.
Funeral is 2 p.m. Friday, February 22nd at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Timothy Thomas officiating. Interment: Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 12:30-1:30 p.m. prior to the service.
Pallbearers include Dale Revercomb, Jim Floyd, Mick Burson, Bryan Sympson, Mike Bindel and Jeremiah Hale.
Laurie was born December 28, 1957 in Margaretville, New York to Leo Simon and Nedra (Dumond) Mestyanek. She was united in marriage to Thomas Jay Lutz on December 28, 1977. Laurie was a Senior Commercial Title Examiner for Fidelity National Financial and was in the mortgage industry for over 20 years.
Left behind to cherish her memory are husband, Thomas Jay Lutz; sons, Ian and Aaron Lutz; daughter, Sarah Lutz; three grandchildren, Aiden, Barry (Noah) and Lyric Lutz; two sisters, Sheryl Cudmore and Sandy Walker; four nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Laurie was preceded in death by her parents and son, Matthew Thomas Lutz.
