Lawrence Leroy Wagner

Boyd ~ Lawrence Leroy Wagner, 63, retired rig operator and supervisor, went to be with our Lord Friday, November 23, 2018 in Denton.

Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at Christ Fellowship Church at Lake Bridgeport with burial in Sand Hill Cemetery in Decatur. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd.

Reverend Todd Blair will officiate.  Pallbearers include Thomas Keith, Jr., Jared Howard, Christopher Warren, Timothy Warren, Johnathon Shade, Damon Shade, Jeremiah Shade, Michael Likes, and Justin Lusk.  Honorary pallbearers include Thomas Keith, Brad Howard, Keith Fitzgerald, Steven Warren, James Warren Jr., and Mike Montgomery.

Lawrence was born December 6, 1954 to Ralph and Selma (Ballinger) Wagner in Pittsfield, Illinois.  He was united in marriage to Constance Ball on February 14, 2000 in Borger, Texas. Lawrence was a member of Christ Fellowship Church at Lake Bridgeport.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Sara Charlton.

Those left behind to cherish his memory is his wife, Constance Wagner of Boyd; his children, Stacy Keith and husband Thomas, Sandra Howard and husband Brad, Christina Fitzgerald and husband Keith, and Bobbie Warren and husband Steven, all of Boyd, Joseph Elsheimer, Shellie Cox and husband Christopher, all of Borger; his 14 grandchildren; his 20 great-grandchildren; his brothers, Loren Wagner of Stinnett, Loyd Wagner and wife Brenda of Borger, and Ralph Wagner and wife Tammy of Calhoun City, Mississippi; his sisters, Sandra Warren and husband James, Jr. of Boyd, Virginia McNulty, Shirl Pennington and husband Leland, and Carla Rodriguez and husband Jimmy, all of Borger; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.
