Rhome - Lawson Woodrow Hines, 77, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday April 17, 2024 in Decatur.

Memorial service will be at a later date.

Lawson was born October 24, 1946 in Rhome, Texas to Joe Raymond and Radie Pauline (Rexroat) Hines. He married Crystal Sloan, January 12, 1990 in Bridgeport. Lawson’s occupation for many years was an aircraft machinist with Progressive Inc. in Arlington from which he retired. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to many who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Raymond and Radie Pauline Hines.

Those left behind to cherish his loving memory are his wife of 34 years, Crystal Hines; sons, Lawson Dewayne Hines of Nocona, Jeremy Carl Hines of Vidor; daughter Pammy Sue Ralston of Watauga; brother, Joe Paul Hines; sisters, Ollie Margaret Daugherty, Dorothy Hyatt, Kathy Harris, Karen Louise Meadors and Nancy Gail Corbin; 7 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
