FT. WORTH -- L.D. Bays, 76, a retired TCU maintenance mechanic, died Tuesday, May 23, 2006 in Ft. Worth. Graveside service: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at West Bridgeport Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Speaker: his grandson, Joshua Bays. Mr. Bays was a U.S. Army Veteran. Survivors: Wife of 56 years, Ola Mae Bays of Fort Worth; sons, Dennis Lee Bays of Fort Worth, Danny Lynn Bays and wife, Cathy of Burleson and Larry Dwayne Bays of Joshua; six grandchildren; and sisters, Jean Norris of Fort Worth, Winnie Jones of Angleton, and Judy Bays of Angleton.
