Ledeva Anne Chitwood

Ledeva Anne Chitwood, 85, of Newark, Texas, went to be with our Lord on Saturday September 7, 2024 in Keene, Texas.

She was born August 25, 1939 to Arnold G. and Ledeva Genell (McBride) Whitten in Lakeview, Texas.

Ledeva’s highest grade was the 10th grade then she went on to work at the United States Postal Service as a carrier from which she retired from. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and a host of friends who will miss her dearly.

She is preceded in death by her dad, Arnold Whitten of Lakeview, Tx. and mother Genell Sanders of Buchanan Dam, Tx. and her son, Donald “Donnie” J. Miller.

She is survived by her husband William Chitwood of Newark; daughters, Melinda Miller of Cleburne. Stacy Dawn Watts of Sunset, Lynn Coplin of Cleburne and Regina Genell Rogers and her husband Mark of Rhome; Daughter in law Donna Miller, wife of Donald J. Miller, of Clovis N.M; step son Alex Chitwood of Oklahoma, her sister Linda Maddox and husband Doug of Perryton, Tx., numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
