Boyd ~ Lee Troy, 83, went to be with our Lord Monday, October 17, 2022 in Bowie.

Funeral is 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Hilltop Assembly of God in Boyd with burial at Boyd Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd.

Pallbearers are Randy Elledge, Richard Looney, Chris Plaster, Wayne Parker, Dwight Brisco, and Austin McGough. Honorary Pallbearer is Chuck Berg.

Lee was born on November 29, 1938 to William and Viola (Tillman) Looney in Simpson, Oklahoma. He was united in marriage to Melba Joyce Elledge on November 16, 1957 in Yantis. Lee worked for the maintenance department for Boyd ISD and Decatur ISD. He was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Melba Looney; his daughter, Robin Kay Fry; his granddaughter, Jennifer Fry; and his grandson, Steven Fry.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are 2 daughters, Pam Huddleston and husband Bill and Debra Taylor and husband Raymond; 4 grandchildren, Chad Huddleston and wife Kristen, Kimberly Herrera and husband Jafid, Robert Fry, and Jason Fry and wife Ashley; his great-grandchildren, Layton, Addyson, Brynlee, Landon, Caleb, Alexia Rose, Steven, and Cayson; his sisters, Kay Sevier and Joyce Plaster and husband Chris; his brother, Kenny Looney and wife Carol; other relatives and a host of friends.
