Leona Victoria Pryor

Graveside service is 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 11th at Bethel Cemetery, near Decatur with Rev. Gerre Joiner officiating. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.

Vickie, a retired nurse, was born July 10, 1936 in Sulphur Springs to Ruben Lonnie and Earle Esther (Collins) Blacksher. She married Charlie Merl Pryor in 1954 in Dallas, Texas.

Left behind to cherish her memory are daughters, Judy Beach and husband Tommy of Hamlin, Vickie Charline Croft and husband Rusty of Canton, Georgia and Jeanie Ruffner and husband Robert of Little Elm; sons, Merl Pryor and wife Terrie of Decatur, Allen Pryor and wife Debra of Bowie and James Pryor and wife Jackie of North Richland Hills; 17 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren; other family members and a host of friends.

Vickie is preceded in death by her parents; husband; five sisters; and two brothers.

Our condolences go out to all the family of Vicky. We know how much you all loved her. You all showed it every day. She was so fortunate to have a family so full of love. She was family to us, too. She was our sister, also! She loved us as much as we loved her. For a couple of months now we have missed her daily phone calls to check on us and tell us how much she loves us.
