CHICO -- Leslie Ann Denison, 17, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2009 in Bridgeport.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Catholic Church. Visitation: 5-7 p.m. Thursday and open visitation on Friday. Rosary: 7 p.m. Thursday at Hawkins Funeral Home.

Father Sojan George and Rev. Larry Potts will officiate. Pallbearers: Jeff berres, Brian Cox, Lance Goode, Brian Hoyt, Russell Miller, Ken Murry, and Brad Leaf.

Leslie was born on April 23, 1992 in Round Rock. She was a Bridgeport High School student and a varsity cheerleader. She was a member of the National Honor Society, the Cross Country Varsity Team, and S.T.A.N.D.

Those left behind to cherish her memory: parents, Kent and Marcie Cox of Chico; father, Charles Denison of Austin; brother, Jeffrey Berres of Austin; sister, Jamie Berres of Austin; grandparents, J.Q. and Donilla Cox of Chico; grandmother, Peggy Schulze of San Antonio; uncle, Russell Miller of San Antonio; step brother, Brian Cox of Eagan MN; and step sister, Hayli Cords of Evergreen, CO.
