BRIDGEPORT -- Letha Lucille Young, 92, a homemaker died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2007 in Bridgeport.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at Twin Oaks Assembly of God, Bridgeport with Rev. Gary Sessions officiating. Interment: West Bridgeport Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hawkins Funeral Home.
Pallbearers: Billy Young, Jacob Young, Jeremy Young, Stephen Starnes, Kenny Butler, Tim Butler.
Letha was born May 22, 1915 in Bridgeport to Columbus and Sally Taylor Morton. She married Cecil Albert Young Oct. 9, 1933 in Bridgeport. They were united 62 years at the time of his passing in 1995. Also preceding her in death were her parents, brother, John Morton, daughter, Patsy Ann Smith and five grandchildren.
Survivors: Sons: Claborn Young and wife Pat of Decatur; Delbert Young and wife Tammy of Bridgeport and Jimmy Young of Rhome. Daughters: Annie Walker of Burleson; Ruth Starnes of Bridgeport; Jean Jenkins of Springtown; Kathy Butler of Bridgeport and Teresa Goley and husband Mike of Decatur. Sisters: Eva Young of Bridgeport and Allie Waldrop of Rhome 26-Grandchildren 46-Great-Grandchildren 21-Great-Great-Grandchildren
